Schenley Golden Wedding was originally an American Whiskey brand that’s been around the bend since 1856.
In 1920, Lewis Rosenstiel purchased a distillery that contained barrels of Golden Wedding. The brand walked away unscathed after Prohibition’s Repeal and was moved in 1948 to Valleyfield, Quebec stamped as a Canadian Whisky.
Today, this whisky is matured for three years in white oak casks at the Black Velvet distillery in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Only Schenley Golden Wedding offers a historic pre-prohibition era Canadian Rye whisky at a great price. Light and smooth with a slight grainy quality in the aroma and flavour, balanced and smooth, full-bodied.
